🔹 वर्ण क्या हैं?
वर्ण (Varan) उस ध्वनि के लिखित प्रतीक हैं जिन्हें हम बोलकर प्रकट करते हैं।
उच्चारित ध्वनियों को जब लिखकर बताना होता है, तब उनके लिए कुछ लिपि-चिह्न बनाए जाते हैं, जो उस भाषा के ‘लिपि-चिह्न’ कहलाते हैं।
इन लिपि-चिन्हों को ही 'वर्ण' कहा जाता है।
✅ वर्ण = भाषिक ध्वनियों का लिखित रूप
हिन्दी में इन वर्णों को ‘अक्षर’ भी कहा जाता है।
💡 वर्ण भाषा की लघुत्तम इकाई होते हैं।
